Refund Policy

At Kukamanga Krew, we reserve specific time slots to ensure your pets receive our undivided attention and care. Because we limit the number of "Krew" members we accept to maintain high safety standards, we adhere to the following refund guidelines:

1. Dog Walking & Cat Enrichment Visits

  • Cancellations with 24+ Hours' Notice: You will receive a full credit to your account to be used for a future visit.

  • Cancellations with <24 Hours' Notice: No refund or credit will be issued, as this time was reserved exclusively for your pet and cannot be rebooked on short notice.

  • Same-Day "No-Show": If we arrive at your home and are unable to access your pet (e.g., deadbolt locked, wrong code), the visit will be charged in full.

 

2. Monthly Membership Packages

  • Unused Visits: Membership visits do not "roll over" to the following month. However, if you provide 24 hours' notice for a missed day, we will do our best to reschedule that visit within the same billing cycle, subject to availability.

  • Cancellations: You may cancel your monthly membership at any time. Refunds for the remaining days in the month are not provided, but your service will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

 

3. Adventure Hikes & Overnight Care

  • Adventure Hikes: These require significant logistics and transport. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to receive a service credit.

  • Overnight Stays: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure overnight dates.

    • Cancellations made 7+ days before the start date will result in a credit of the remaining balance.

    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date are non-refundable.

 

4. Inclement Weather & Emergencies

  • Safety First: If we must cancel a visit due to dangerous weather (Tropical Storms, extreme heat index, etc.), a full service credit will be automatically applied to your account.

  • Client Emergencies: We understand that life happens. For major medical emergencies or unexpected family crises, please contact us directly to discuss a one-time exception.

 

5. How Credits Work

All approved refunds are issued as "Krew Credits" within our booking system. Credits never expire and can be applied toward any future walk, hike, or sitting service.
